Aēsop's reputation rests on precision — in its botanical formulations and in the pared-back, architectural spaces that house them. RÆBURN's first collaboration with the Melbourne-founded skincare brand was the Adventurer Roll Up: a compact case designed to carry hand care on the move.

The Roll Up was designed to house three products for cleansing and hydrating hands while commuting, travelling or simply out and about. A limited-edition RÆMADE version led the collaboration: 300 pieces, each unique and individually numbered, handcrafted in East London from reclaimed 1960s aeronautical navigation maps.

A wider release, made from recycled cotton, brought the same design to a more widely available form — housing three products from Aēsop's Resurrection range: a rinse-free hand wash, an aromatique hand balm and a rinse-free hand mist, built to cleanse and hydrate wherever water wasn't at hand.

Alongside the collaboration, RÆBURN released an open source pattern for building a Roll Up at home from any surplus fabric — inviting sewers and first-time makers alike to make their own, using the pattern and step-by-step guide below.

A short while later, the partnership continued: RÆBURN crafted 56 custom parachute curtains for Aēsop's St James Quarter store in Edinburgh. At the time of design, yellow gorse was in flower across nearby Arthur's Seat — inspiration for the gold tones running through the space.
