SS14 SANDSTORM

For SS14 RÆBURN explored his ongoing notion of protection, inspired by the stoic men of World War Two’s Long Range Desert Group. A reconnaissance and raiding unit, the LRDG experienced the extreme contrasts of the desert environment by day and at night. Drawing from elements of their surprisingly broad desert uniform, RÆBURN created a modern and suitably functional collection.

SS14 MIRAGE

RÆBURN’s SS14 womens collection explored the notion of desert protection, recontextualising functional elements such as layering, texture and pattern to inspire summer style. The extensive fabric research and innovation translated into a unique visual poetry, evoking a hazy mirage through the use of dusty colours, and dappled camouflage.
