Timberland Construct 10061
collaboration / October 29, 2019
Construct 10061 is a collaborative initiative of Timberland and ConceptKicks, hosted this year at VF's innovation HQ in New Hampshire. Christopher joined some of the best footwear makers and designers from around the world to rethink every step of the boot-making process and push the boundaries of innovative and responsible design. The theme of this year's edition was around climate change, aligning with their ambitious Nature Needs Heroes campaign.
During the project, Christopher created a boot RÆMADE from an original pair of US issue protective fire trousers. The boot utilises Nomex, breathable membrane, quilt and original elastic all harvested from the original trousers.
