Christopher RÆBURN has appointed Graeme Raeburn as Performance Director as the brand approaches its ten-year anniversary.
“Christopher RÆBURN is a tremendously exciting and dynamic brand. What my brother (Christopher) and his team have achieved in ten years is nothing short of incredible and I am thrilled to join the team at this exciting stage of the business. I'm excited to combine expertise in materials, products, and fabrication with sustainable and responsible design practices” says Raeburn (Graeme), who joins the brand after ten years at Rapha, a world leading performance cycling brand where, during his tenure, Graeme worked across men’s, women’s and accessories in his role as Lead Designer.
The announcement follows Christopher’s recent appointment as Timberland’s first Global Creative Director, a role that will see Christopher split his time 50/50 over Timberland and Christopher RÆBURN. Graeme’s challenge is to bring a greater emphasis to material innovation and performance/functionality within each product and on being joined in the business by his brother, Christopher said “It’s a real coup for us to bring someone of Graeme’s calibre into our business and we are excited to bring our collective design approaches and truly fuse fashion and function as we enter the next chapter of the business”.
Christopher RÆBURN will be showcasing its next collection at London Fashion Week followed by Pitti (Florence) and MAN (Paris) through January 2019.
